The Vale of Berkeley’s strongest man or woman was back in 2023 to find the strongest around the postcode area of GL in Gloucestershire.
It was a great events, and attracted hundreds of people from around Gloucestershire all enjoying the days event and the sun. Local news outlets such as the ‘Points West’ film crew and ‘The Stroud Times’ also came to support the ‘Vale of Berkeley Strongest’.
Hosted by ‘The Vale of Berkeley Strongest’ and ‘Matthew Stump’ it was a non profit event, and this year the charity raised money for is the Macular Society, a charity that raises awareness and money to fund research into all variety’s of macular disease.
All those competing, marshalling and having a go in the Vale of Berkeley’s strongest were inspirational.
After the event Matt wrote: “We just want to say a final thank you too all of the competitors, marshals, volunteers, local Businesses and to all of you that attended the day and donated to Macular Society. It was a great day and we hope that you all enjoyed it. With the help from all of you amazing people we have raised £500 to send to Macular Society. We will be looking to expand next year and have more going on. Again thank you so much to everyone and we hope to see you next year!”
