Warnings issued after reports of flooding across the region

There are reports of flooding across the region.

Gloucestershire police say they are taking a lot of calls about flooding across the county.

A Tweet from their force control room stated: “Please DO be considerate of other drivers and pedestrians.

“DO NOT drive into large puddles.”

The M5 Northbound entry slip road at J11A is currently  closed due to flooding.

Traffic officers are on the scene and maintenance crews are en route to try to clear the water.

The A46 Bath Road has flooded outside the Old Fleece pub near Stroud.

Heavy rain has left deep standing water outside the pub on Rooksmoor Hill, North Woodchester.

The pub remains open although cars have broken down while attempting to drive along the road outside.

There are also reports of flooding on other roads across Gloucestershire.
