FURTHER ‘very strong winds’ are forecast today (Sunday) and tomorrow across Gloucestershire.
Much of the county is expected to be hit by the weather front until 1pm tomorrow (Monday).
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for wind across the whole of the south west.
The weather experts have said to expect some damage to buildings, such as tiles blown from roofs, along with trees and branches being brought down.
Road, rail, air and ferry services may be affected, with longer journey times and cancellations possible.
Some roads and bridges may close.
Power cuts may occur, with the potential to affect other services, such as mobile phone coverage.
