OVER THE last few days there has been a loud noise in and around the Stroud town centre.
Sounding like a helicopter, this noise has been heard by many during day and night in Stroud.
The mystery surrounding this loud noise has now been solved.
A spokesperson from the Five Valleys Shopping Centre, Stroud, said: “The main extraction unit serving the centre developed a fault on Tuesday resulting in a noise which could be heard externally from the centre.
“An engineer was called immediately and as of first thing this morning (Thursday) the issue has been resolved and no further disruption should occur.
“Five Valleys management would like to apologise for any inconvenience or annoyance caused, the team always works quickly with contractors to ensure any issues are resolved as soon as possible.”
