The location of what could be a new bouldering centre in Cheltenham – the vacant unit is north west of Euro Car Parts

The application has been put in by Boulders Ltd, based at Boulders Indoor Climbing Centre in Cardiff, Wales.

It seeks a change of use from a vacant light-industrial unit that had been used for warehousing and distribution to an indoor recreational unit, which would have external illuminated signage with a LED screen.

 

The Cardiff bouldering centre in St Catherine’s Park has a 4.5 average rating on Tripadvisor with 79 per cent of 297 reviews giving it the maximum five stars for excellent.

It has opportunities for young climbers, new climbers as well as more experienced climbers.
