CYCLIST enthusiasts are gearing up for the Tour of Britain as riders pass Gloucestershire on Friday.
Riders taking part in the annual tournament, which started in Scotland on Sunday, will go through Cirencester, Stroud and Dursley plus Tewkesbury and Gloucester as part of stage 6.
Estimated times – which vary according to the speed of the race – have been published.
The race starts in Tewkesbury at 11am before cyclists whizz through Cirencester at around 12.47pm.
They will arrive at Dursley at around 2:34pm, Selsley at around 2.53pm Dudbridge Road at around 2.55pm, Paganhill Lane at about 2.56pm, Stratford Road at around 2.58pm and then onto the A46 to Gloucester via Painswick.
The first set of cyclists are expected to reach the finish line of Friday’s at around 3.20pm in Southgate Street, Gloucester.
