WITNESSES are sought following an attack on a man after he got off a bus at Merrywalks in Stroud.

This picture of the victim, who suffered a suspected broken nose and broken teeth, was posted on the Spotted in Stroud Facebook page after the incident took place on Tuesday.

The victim was getting off the 64 bus by the bridge at Merrywalks shopping centre in Stroud on Tuesday at 5.40pm, when a man attacked him after hassling him for his phone.

The attacker is described as a man between the ages of 21 and 30, who was wearing a beanie at the time.

The victim has Asperger’s Syndrome and the attack has significantly knocked his confidence.

Anyone with information about the attack is asked to contact the police on 101.
