Woman banned from EVERY Tesco in Gloucestershire

A 29-YEAR-OLD woman has been banned from entering all Tesco stores in Gloucestershire after being charged with eight thefts of alcohol and clothing worth a total of £1,500 from three of the firm’s supermarkets.

At Cheltenham Magistrates Court, Lauren Nisbet of the Leaze, South Cerney, was accused last week of thefts of alcohol and clothing from Tesco stores in Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham and Gloucester, on eight occasions between March 24 and June 20 this year.

She was bailed until November 18 after the defence requested time to view CCTV footage of the alleged offending.

Magistrates granted bail with a condition that she is not to enter any Tesco stores in Gloucestershire at any time during the adjournment.

The charges against her are:

1. Theft of alcohol worth £100 from Tesco, Bishops Cleeve on March 24

2. Theft of alcohol worth £300 from Tesco, Cheltenham, on March 26

3. Theft of alcohol worth £150 from Tesco, Cheltenham, on March 28

4. Theft of clothing worth £50 from Tesco, Gloucester, on March 29

5. Theft of alcohol worth £200 from Tesco, Gloucester, also on March 29

6. Theft of alcohol worth £150 from Tesco, Gloucester, on April 1

7. Theft of alcohol worth £450 from Tesco, Cheltenham, on June 16

8. Theft of alcohol worth £100 from Tesco, Cheltenham, on June 20
