Young boy grabbed near Huntsgrove Primary School in Quedgeley

GLOUCESTERSHIRE police are appealing for witnesses after a young boy on a scooter was grabbed near a primary school. 

A young boy was asked for his money and then grabbed by an unknown man in Quedgeley at around 4.30pm on Sunday, September 18.

It happened on the pathway alongside Huntsgrove Primary School. 

The boy was left with bruises from the struggle however nothing was stolen from him.

The man was described as wearing a pink or beige tracksuit top and bottoms, with the tracksuit hoodie having cords on. 

He was also wearing a black mask so that only his eyes were showing.

A white van was parked nearby on Knotgrass Way and the victim believes this may have belonged to the man.

Police officers have collected and reviewed a number of CCTV clips from the area. 

They have also carried out house-to-house enquiries as well informing the local shops and schools of the incident to help gather information.

Police officers are now appealing for witnesses and are asking the public for help to identify the suspect. 

They are asking for anyone who witnessed the incident or any suspicious activity in the area around the time to come forward.
